"After a spell volunteering in the garden I feel revitalised from spending time in the fresh air, I make a connection with people, both Catherine and other volunteers/apprentices, not to mention learning lots about gardening, farm life and wildlife"

Come and volunteer in the Community Garden or join the team looking after Outdoor Family Camping. Please just email your interest - click a button

Continuing the success of our once a year Inner City camping, this year we are extending that to 3 separate visits to Green Farm.   In order to make this work without having an impact on our natural woodlands we have a couple of projects to improve the facilities. These are:

INFRASTRUCTURE AT GREEN FARM

The building of three Eco Loo’s in Fairyland

The extension of the community garden mini loo and shower block facilities, where we hope to add 1 disabled shower and 1 normal shower

OUTDOOR FAMILY CAMPING FOOD, TRANSPORT, STAFF

A variety of things are needed to make the camping work at Green Farm such as:

  1. Money for food during the days at Green Farm

  2. Mini buses hire

  3. Train fares

  4. Social work staff

  5. General Stuff
